Single rider snowmobile. The fan cooled F570 delivers plenty of sporty performance and the twin spar chassis, with it's body saving ride, gives the rider a fantastic ride and excellent handling. The F570 has electric start, reverse, convenient dash storage bag, HI/LOW hand and thumb warmers and heated shield hook up.

Arctic Cat F 5 LXR


Single rider snowmobile. The liquid cooled F5 LXR has more power and performance than the fan cooled F570. The F5 LXR has similar power of other 600 machines. The F5 LXR has the twin spar chassis with Arctic Cat body saving ride technology for the most comfortable ride and the best handling imaginable. This machine is fun to drive and gets 16+ miles per gal. on the trail. The F5 LXR has electric start, reverse, HI/LOW hand & thumb warmers, heated shield hook up, a convenient dash storage bag and a rear storage bag also. Twin spar chassis and slide action rear suspension make for an unbelievably smooth ride.

Arctic Cat T 570


Two person snowmobile. The fan cooled T570 provides plenty of power and awesome handling for two riders. The twin spar chassis with Arctic Cat body saving ride technology gives the most comfortable ride and handling imaginable. The T570 has nice big seats with a passenger back rest, electric start, reverse, HI/LOW heated driver warmers, heated shield hook up, and passenger grips with handlebar muffs to keep the rider warm. It comes with a convenient dash bag.

Damage coverage is included in the price of each snowsled rental.
There is a $800 credit card deposit for each snowmobile when you pick it up.

Forest Glen General Store Snowmobile Rental

The Forest Glen General Store is located on Federal Forest Highway 13 between Highway US-2 and M-28 in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest.

Forest Glen General Store is a complete general store offering gas and oil, snowmobile supplies, beer, wine, groceries, hunting and fishing licenses, and is conveniently located on the snowmobile trail.

White Fawn Lodge on Town Lake is located next door to the store and offers 10 housekeeping cabins with 2, 3, & 4 bedrooms, a full bath and complete kitchens. Rooms and suites are available in the lodge and there is a community building with a kitchen for lodge guests to use.

Pick up your sled and get ready for some great riding in the heavy snow country of Alger County. Trails lead throughout the Hiawatha National Forest for some outstanding scenery as you ride through the woods. Take the trail up towards the Buckhorn for lunch and circle back through the Forest or ride north to Munising and Christmas where you will find food, gas, and a Kewadin Casino.

Trail #8 north takes you by the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and up towards Grand Marais.
Enjoy visiting some of the waterfalls around Munising. They are especially beautiful in the winter as the water freezes and ice sculptures form. The sandstone cliffs of the Pictured Rocks also produce unusual ice formations. Alger County has over 250 miles of groomed trails stretching the width and length of the county and connecting with groomed trails throughout the entire Upper Peninsula.

 


You can head south towards Indian Lake and Manistique where you might like to stop at Kitch-iti-Kipi, Michigan's largest spring in Palms Book State Park. This spring never freezes and is bubbling in the middle of the frozen water. There are several restaurants and gas near Manistiqu3.

Directions to Forest Glen General Store and White Fawn Lodge. Take Highway US 2 to the intersection with Federal Forest Highway 13 at Nahma Junction, 14 miles east of Rapid River and 19 west of Manistique Turn north on Forest Highway 13 to the Forest Glen Store.


From M-28, turn south on Forest Highway 13 at Wetmore and go 11 miles to the Forest Glen Store Snowmobile Rentals.
Trail maps are available at the Forest Glen Store and they will have the latest trail conditions and will be glad to help you plan your ride.
