Damage coverage is included in the price of each snowsled rental ($800 deductible). There is a $800 credit card deposit for each snowmobile when you pick it up.

Take M-123 four miles north of Newberry and turn west on County Road 407 for 10 miles to Gallagher's. The Lake Superior State Forest north of Newberry gets the full lake effect snow.

Come up and enjoy the over 200" of deep white snow. Ride on the miles of local trails which are kept perfectly groomed plus the seasonal roads that are open for a challenging ride.

This is the spot for serious snowmobilers. The Lake Superior State Forest area offers unlimited off trail riding, lake riding, attractions galore, and a trail system which accommodates those who like to put on the miles.

From Gallagher's Rentals take a ride over to beautiful Tahquamenon Falls. Take a break at the Rainbow Lodge for hot drinks and snack, go on to the Tahquamenon Falls. After visiting the falls, be sure to stop at the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub for lunch, dinner or sustenance and warm up in front of their huge fireplace (serving 11 am-8:30 pm). You can continue on to the Whitefish Point Lighthouse and then loop back on Trail 8 by Rainbow Lodge and Pine Stump Junction. Gas and food available.

Ride up to the rugged shoreline of Lake Superior and enjoy the amazing ice sculptures created by the waves. Visit Crisp's Point Lighthouse or head on over to Grand Marais, Munising, and the Hiawatha National Forest.
