Off Roading in the Paradise Area
Summer is the time for picking up an ATV and heading out to the back country. We will be glad to suggest trails and help you plan your ride. There are some excellent fishing lakes and streams, or you can enjoy some of the ORV trails that exist throughout Luce County, just west of the Camp Store. The Holland Lake Campground is on the ORV trail and a great place to camp out and enjoy the woods. You can ride on the many seasonal roads in the Lake Superior State Forest for hours of riding fun.
If hiking in the woods isn't for you, try renting an ATV and enjoy the splendor of the Upper Peninsula that you would not be able to see by car. Just remember to "Tread Lightly" as you travel throughout the forests and be sure to wear your helmet.

The Camp Store has supplies for that fishing trip into the back country. Fishing supplies include fishing rods, reels and tackle, fishing licenses, lures, live bait and more.
For camping with your ATV, we have firewood, ice, grills, tents, sleeping beds, hunting and fishing knives, RV supplies, LP refills and everything else for your camping needs. We also have groceries, milk, bread, and a variety of snacks, beer and wine. Gas is available across the road.
We will help you plan your ATV trip with trail maps, and directions to that good fishing hole or a ride through the wilderness.
After your ride, pleasant accommodations and beautiful sandy beaches await you in Paradise.

To get to the Tahquamenon Falls Camp Store from the Newberry area, take 123 north past 4 Corners to the store. Rental open from 8:30 am to 10 pm daily.
